1. What this policy covers

This policy covers the public StratumVu website and the StratumVu Business Review. The public website and private assessment application operate separately, but both are part of the StratumVu service.

2. Information you choose to provide

The public site does not require an account. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include in the message.

The Business Review can collect a small business profile, assessment answers, optional evidence notes or URLs, and an email address only when you request persistent save and resume. Do not place passwords, banking information, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive data in assessment evidence fields.

3. Information collected automatically

Hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. The Business Review also records first-party operational events needed to understand whether assessment steps work, such as starting, answering, completing, viewing results, and following recommendations.

4. Cookies and tracking

At this MVP stage, StratumVu uses necessary first-party session cookies for private assessment access and first-party operational events. The public site does not use advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral tracking, or marketing cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent treatment will be updated before those tools are enabled.

5. How information is used

• Provide and secure the public site and Business Review
• Save and resume an assessment when requested
• Calculate scores, gates, findings, and recommendations
• Respond to messages and support requests
• Diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
• Understand first-party product usage and completion

A transactional save-and-resume request does not enroll you in marketing. Marketing consent, if offered later, will remain separate.

6. Service providers

StratumVu uses service providers for infrastructure, data storage, security, and transactional delivery. They process information only for the services they provide to StratumVu and under their applicable terms and safeguards.

7. Retention and security

Information is retained for the period reasonably needed to provide the service, protect it, meet legal obligations, and maintain accurate business-review history. StratumVu uses access controls, private result pages, hashed session tokens, secure cookies, and server-side authorization to protect saved reviews. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You may use the public site without creating an account. You may begin an assessment without providing an email. You may ask about access, correction, or deletion of information connected to you by emailing hello@stratumvu.com. We may need enough information to verify the request and protect other users’ data.

9. Children

StratumVu is a business service and is not directed to children.
